چکیده
Environmental awareness and budgetary constraints in road construction rehabilitation require innovative at the same time environmentally friendly solutions favor of resource conservation, any type pavement intervention. In meantime, surface interventions severely deteriorated pavements are insufficient, increasing as such recycling potential existing materials Full Depth Reclamation (FDR). This study addresses efficiency an FDR process which recycled base course semi-rigid is stabilized with Foamed Asphalt (FA). The adverse effects FA curing, have a significant impact on evaluation, particularly early stages pavement’s life cycle, prompted conduct comprehensive testing campaign two different periods, shortly after five years thereafter. included nondestructive aforementioned periods using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD), facilitate structural evaluation base. Using collected data, principles Multi-Layer Elastic Theory (MLET) Genetic Algorithms (GA) used to investigate performance Both analysis tools captured strength increase second period, but increased variance modulus was observed mainly first test probably due curing effect. addition, GA showed advantage over other, more conventional for back-analysis stiffness, resulting interesting correlation deflection-based parameter reflecting condition layer. Overall, contributes development practical methodology suitable non-conventional sustainable structures.

Evaluating the Performance of Hot Mix Asphalt with Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement and Heavy Vacuum Slops as Rejuvenator
Due to the high price of crude oil, and consequently asphalt binder, the application of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) in pavement technology is widely considered. The present paper is the result of a laboratory research which was carried out to investigate the effects of adding a rejuvenating agent to Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) with RAP. To this end, test samples comprised of Aged Asphalt Binder ...
